At Trelugga we can provide a range of accommodation and sleeping arrangements to cater for the individual and small groups.
Accommodation
Chough Cottage
For families or the student group looking for a bit more comfort we offer Chough Cottage (named after Cornwall’s national bird which nests on the nearby cliffs). This is a comfortable holiday home with its own garden set alongside a grassy paddock and an arbour which offers a place to relax. It has two bedrooms (one double with attached bathroom and one twin with a separate shower room) accommodating four, although an extra bed can be provided. It has a well equipped kitchen/dining room with a pleasant sunroom adjoining (lovely for an evening drink or to play board games).
The upstairs living room offers nice views of the grounds (including a wildlife pond where many dragonflies can be seen and used by the visiting swallows) and the surrounding fields. There is a television/DVD provided and wireless internet.
The Studio
For individual visitors/couple, wanting some comfort, we have The Studio which has wifi and heating. This is a separate building opposite our main house which has a double bed upstairs and a shower room below. A microwave and kettle can be provided.
For small groups of students or children The Studio is available and can accommodate up to six on traditional camp beds. It has an ensuite shower room. The Studio has wifi (for children to write home ) and heating. A microwave and kettle can be provided (to students only). Picnic tables are available outside.
Tent
For small groups of students on a tighter budget you can either camp in your own tent or in one provided by us. Bring your own sleeping bags and torches please. Guests use the main house bath/shower room. Picnic tables are available outside.
Food
In Trelugga we provide a chance to enjoy home cooked food which, when possible, comes from our garden or from the local neighbours nearby. You will have the chance to sample some traditional English favourites such as apple pie!
We all eat together at set times and often, if weather allows, eat outside in the garden.
There is always a choice of food available and different dietary needs can be catered for if requested in advance.
